The Performance Gym can be booked on a once off basis or continued over a longer duration of time. Teams who are in the gym for a day have the option of booking strength and conditioning orientation. For maximum benefit your team should book a number supervised sessions in All Core Gym so that the instructor can evaluate progress, monitor technique and make changes to the programme where necessary. Our Coaches

Our Club Strength & Conditioning coaches have experience with all levels of fitness and training. We want to encourage good coaching practices for teams and management. Our experts will evaluate present level of performance, short and long-term goals and functional ability to perform exercise selection and movement control. Everyone will learn from each other in what is a very inclusive and shared practice for all. All coaches are screened and appropriately educated and accredited to current standard practices. Past members can attest to this standard, as many individuals have gone on to represent their country, province and county.

A new approach to Rehab with Team All Core

AlterG’s rehabilitation treadmill easily integrates into any fitness setting.

• Rehab after total joint replacement following an injury or surgery on a lower extremity (hip, knee, ankle or foot)

Fitness Testing & Talent ID for Sports

All Core Sports Performance Gym offers fitness testing assessments to all teams in all sports. Coaches will receive a comprehensive report detailing their players individual scores in relation to the whole team. Below is an outline of the tests, although these can be amended to suit the sport:

 

  • Body Composition – body weight, height and % body fat, Cardio Scan*
  • Speed tests – 20 metre speed test with times taken at the 5, 10 ,15 and 20 metres
  • Strength Tests – OBW, UB, LB
  • Endurance tests – e.g. Yoyo intermittent recovery test level 2, 150M Shuttles, 3K etc.
  • Counter Movement Jump (CMJ)
  • FMS

It is important to understand why we measure and monitor progress. If the athlete improves then the program works, if he doesn’t, then the reason needs to be identified. Without measuring we cannot progress forward efficiently and effectively.

Performance Analysis

Post-Match Analysis

Analyse every aspect of performance after the match. An invaluable, objective tool for assessing your players and team from single or multiple games.

 

Opposition Analysis

Helps to identify the strengths and weaknesses of upcoming teams and players: informing tactical decisions and improving team preparation.

Speed & Conditioning Training

An agile (quick) athlete will win 99.9% of the time. Exceptional speed is inherent; however, all individuals can improve on their current level of speed by working on running technique, strength training, plyometrics, and reaction drills. Our program is advanced and demanding on the body. A general level of conditioning is required to prevent injury and maximise the most out of the program.
